Selection & Recognition
How are artists selected?
Submissions are reviewed for visual strength, originality, presentation, creative voice, and overall impact. AweSnapp does not require artwork to fit a fixed category or trend.
How many artists are selected?
Each cycle may include up to 100 Selected Artists. From that group, 20 artists are named Spotlight Artists, and 10 artists receive homepage placement as Featured Artists.
What do selected artists receive?
Selected artists receive online exhibition placement, public recognition, a digital certificate, and an award badge. Featured and Spotlight Artists receive expanded visibility through homepage or social promotion.
Does AweSnapp offer a cash prize?
No. AweSnapp awards are recognition-based. The focus is visibility, public placement, shareable artist credentials, and online exhibition recognition.
Fees & Participation
When is the $15 participation fee paid?
The $15 participation fee is paid only after an artist is selected and chooses to accept their place in the award round. Payment is not required to be considered.
What does the participation fee support?
The participation fee helps support review administration, online exhibition preparation, artist recognition materials, website maintenance, and promotional efforts connected to the award cycle.
Is the participation fee refundable?
Participation fees are non-refundable once a selected artist accepts their place and payment is received.
Rights & Usage
Do artists keep ownership of their work?
Yes. Artists retain full copyright and ownership of their submitted artwork. AweSnapp does not claim ownership of submitted work.
How can AweSnapp use submitted images?
By submitting, artists grant AweSnapp permission to display submitted images on the website, online exhibition pages, homepage features, email announcements, and social media channels for promotional and archival purposes related to the award.
Can AI-assisted artwork be submitted?
AI-assisted work should only be submitted if the artist has the right to use and present the final image and the work meets AweSnapp's originality standards.
Results & Communication
How will results be announced?
Results may be published online and shared through AweSnapp updates, email announcements, and social channels.
Will I receive individual feedback?
Due to the number of submissions received, individual feedback may not be available. Selection decisions are final.
Can AweSnapp select fewer than 100 artists?
Yes. AweSnapp reserves the right to select fewer than 100 artists if the number or quality of submissions does not support a full selection group for that cycle.
